Respiratory Therapy

The Respiratory Therapy department at Mountain View Hospital offers both inpatient and outpatient services. It is our goal to provide the best of care in respiratory therapy and echocardiography.

Our Outpatient Services Include:

• Echocardiography (Cardiac Ultrasound)
• Cardiac Stress Testing
• Pulmonary Function Testing
• Electrocardiography (EKG’s)

Patient Preparation Instructions:

• Cardiac Stress Testing: Remember to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. It may require light to moderate jogging. Contact your physician to verify whether to use cardiac or blood pressure medications prior to stress testing.
• Pulmonary Function Testing: Remember to stop bronchodilators 8 hours prior to testing unless emergent use is needed.
• Echocardiogram: This test takes 45 to 60 minutes. Patients must be 12 years old or older.

• Ventilator and Intubation Services
• Newborn Respiratory Service
• Oxygen and other Respiratory Support
• Cardiac Stress Testing
• Echocardiography (Cardiac Ultrasound)
