The Surgery Department at Mountain View Hospital is comprised of eight state-of-the-art operating suites, a comprehensive Endodiagnostic Center, Pain Management Clinic, a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and an Outpatient Care Unit.

A full range of specialty services are available, including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, General and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, Robotics, Gynecology, Vascular, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dental/Maxillofacial, Plastics, Urology, Gastroenterology, and Pain Management, etc… with 92 surgeons credentialed to operate at Mountain View Hospital.

Scheduling

Surgery is scheduled by the physician and/or staff contacting the hospital.

Surgery

Our services include pre-operative assessment, education, and intervention as needed for each patient, beginning with a pre-operative phone call through admittance to surgery. Intra-operatively, skilled and well-trained surgeons, anesthesia providers, and nursing personnel use the latest technology and techniques in a large range of specialties in a safe, well controlled environment. Patients are admitted directly to the PACU upon completion of surgery. They are connected to state-of-the-art monitoring equipment designed to assist the PACU nurses in returning patients to their pre-surgery level of functioning. Upon recovery, patients are then moved to our Same Day Surgery Unit until discharged home, or to our in-patient rooms on the second floor. For patient convenience, all of the amenities needed to complete most routine surgeries, assessment and testing are located within or near the surgery department.
